Hello, I'm new to to the site and I was wondering if anybody here was familiar with Japanese art?? I have come into several pieces of art(not just Japanese) recently and I'm trying to get some information on them.. I have this painting here that I can't get much help on because the signature is is hard to make out but if anybody can shed some light on it that would be great!! The name of the painting is "Wharf scene at Nantucket" and it appears to be a mixture of pencil and watercolor or crayon?? I'm unsure of the age and the signature is hard to identify.. As far as the Japanese art goes just let me know if you are familiar with it and I can post up some pictures. I hope the picture quality is well enough because I had to bring the size down a bunch before I could upload . Thanks in advance for any information! :-) Daron,
