Need some help for a friend (ID)

I believe he said the title is, "3 Phases (or Faces) of Life".

Trying to make a plausible name out of that signature, I would guess "W. Philips" or perhaps "W. Philipps". I do not know of any such artist and do not see one in Google , so that's really just a guess.
