Oil painting of mountain lion

I have a large oil painting of a mountain lion sitting in tall grass signed by
R Delongpre. It is 5ft wide and 4ft long; I would greatly appreciate if this painting has any value or where can I found information about this artist;Also do I have the correct spelling of this artist' name?Any info would be appreciated.

I don't know who the artist is. Does not appear to be Raoul de Longpre, who specialized in floral still lifes. I did come across a number of references to the artist, but mainly questions and no answers. I also found this picture of a painting of two owls by R. Delongpre:
