Identity help required.

Hello.

I was recently given an oil on board picture. I reckon from about the thirties maybe, but have no real idea and would love to research. The picture is of a cottage amongst trees. I love the picture but would like to learn more about it if possible. There is a signature ....looks like W (though that is not clear) but KING following the W is relatively clear.

I have tried research on the net but with no joy so was hoping someone here may be able to help.
