Francis I. Bennett

I really hope I am posting this in the right place, if not, can an administer please move it =)

I am in possession of a mid 1940's piece done an artist whom originated out of Nutley, NJ. To my knowledge, Francis also traveled around Europe and painted away; most being oil paintings. This is a rare water color of, what it seems to be, and Italian backdrop. He is/was not exactly as famous as Picasso, yet his artwork is astonishing.

I now ask the artconversation community to give me a little information on the artist- I found some at askart.com, and bought a ::worthless:: subscription- and found little info.
Where can I find information about copyright use, history, and/or other productions that are out there?

I am a relative of Francis Bennett from Nutley. I reside in New Jersey. I have several of his paintings--watercolors only. I would be interested in your painting if it is indeed one of his works.

It has been in my family for sometime I have had some problems and was not able to get back onto here since i posted tha, and sinse then i no longer have my log in information.
