I saw this in a restaurant but cannot make out the signature. If anyone can help I would be most grateful. Also, in passing, I have been trying to find the artist of another painting - a naive style - of a steam train - with very white clearly defined clouds of steam above it going through a very green landscape. It is slightly like some of Hockney's drawrings, but I don't think it is one of his. It was shown in a Sunday Times Magazine years and years ago, I cut it out and had it on a board for ages, but it is long since gone. Desperate to find that too. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Not sure why but those attachments did not upload correctly. I just did a test and successfully uploaded a picture, so maybe you can try again. Use the paperclip icon and be sure to click "upload" once each file is selected.

Many thanks John, I have had sorts of problems uploading the pictures, which is new, but anyway, they are there now.

That does look a lot like one of Klimt's landscapes, but I have no suggestions on what the signature might read.
