Default Where to find good African paintings?

Recently, I was reading an article dedicated to African art and I was amazed to find out about so many varieties of African art forms. Initially I used to believe that African tribal art was just limited to masks. But after seeing the photographs of the original oil paintings, jewellery items and pottery items I was simply spell bound. Being an art lover, I am planning to buy some original paintings to add to my collection. Can you guys suggest where I can purchase some good African paintings?

Hi Sam Thomas,

I am an ardent lover of African tribal art and I am happy to know that you liked this genre. I must mention here that the tribal artists are highly creative and have magic in their hands. I have a very high regard for these talented African tribal artists. Now coming to your question, I can suggest to you an online site http://www.southafricanartists.com/ from where I picked some wonderful art pieces. Give it a try and I am sure you would find something to your taste.

Take care

Default Buy African Art Online

African art has played an important role in the african lifestyle for many years, but the focus now is on the contemporary. Earlier examples of african art are harder to get, sites like the http://africanpaintingsgallery.com are mainly for contemporary african paintings. A few others deal with antiques however.

Default Answer to where to find good African Paintings...

Hello Sam,

A great place to buy original contemporary African Art paintings for sale is a new online gallery at www.TrueAfricanArt.com It features over 400 pieces of artwork all at some of the lowest prices on the Internet. It also boasts over 40 African Artists and has many artist video interviews made on site in Africa. Most of the pieces come from Kenya. All are located now near New York City and are ready for sale. The gallery went online in October, 2009.

If you're looking for a legitimate, low price, secure online African Art Gallery then TrueAfricanArt.com is it.

Thank you for your question Sam and I hope you visit our African Art Paintings Gallery soon.
