In this Sunday's Arts Section of the Washington Post, their chief critic Blake Gopnik has a piece on one of this city's hidden treasures, Samuel Morse's "House of Representatives" (1822-23). One heavy duty French intellectual was so fascinated by it that he traveled to Washington to study it this fall and some of the results of his investigation are set forth in an interactive feature in the article.
