Try the Symbolists, a 19th-century movement of creepy, surreal, decadent art. Edvard Munch, Gustave Adolphe Mossa, Jean Delville, Giovanni Segantini, Franz von Stuck, etc.
Some of his stuff also reminds me of the brilliant Ralph Steadman. |
