Artist's name and image of painting sought.
Hello, all,
I have been seeking the name of an artist and an image of one of his paintings, as well as a bio. The subject matter is the bombing of Dresden painted in 1936, nine years prior to the actual bombing in 1945. Your help would be greatly appreciated. F. Johnson |

Bombing of Dresden painting
I have seen this painting too - about 20 years ago. My mother was physically there as a child - she watched her city leveled as she ran away from killed there. I remember the horror in the painting. I would like to see it again as I feel it truly captured the true essence of the times. Any luck on the maker or the painting itself?

I also heard it
The name started with a G I have a message to my friend from Poland who is an excellent painter I will get back. Can't find a recording of the rest of the story tonight. Nick
