Painting of Paul Cezanne .. ?
Hi
I have to write an analyse and interpretation of an impressionistic Painting. Our teacher gave us some books about impressionism and wanted us to choose a Painting. Now i've got a painting of Paul Cezanne and i have totally no information about the paintings name, where it is, when it was made and and... And the best thing, our teacher brought the book back to the library and now its borrowed.  It would be very nice if somebody's able to help me. thx and greetings ps. sorry for my english, its actually not that good. |

This looks like a version of "Bathers at Rest" ("Baigneurs" in French). But be careful: there are several versions of this scene that are slightly different, the most famous one being in the Barnes Collection. I only looked around for a few minutes, but I wasn't able to find this painting online.

There is an other version in the Orsay Museum in Paris but that one is in The History and Art Museum-Geneva-Switzerland.
