I have seen #2 before, or a painting quite similar anyways. I could be wrong but I believe it was a Monet. Not one of the better Monets you'll ever see, but a Monet.
With respect to #1, "IPSIUS" is Latin for "SELF", so presumably this is a self-portrait. The painting looks familiar but I do not recall who it is. |
