Hi,
I am trying to purchase a piece by the enameler Fed Uhl Hall. I am having a very hard time deciding if what I am being asked to pay is fair or not. He is well known in that field but I can not find any sales recently of his work. I know the answer for someone when it comes to buying art is "if you like it.." but while I was willing to spend a few thousand on this piece the price being asked (it is a 7.5. by 12 Modern piece of wall art) is for considerably more. If I find another piece by him priced cheaply I probably will regret the purchase. Anyway, anyone out there have any idea what his stuff typically goes for? thanks
