He does seem to be a listed artist, but the above link thankfully seems to be for a different Karl Kaufmann.

...Another useful trick is to put the artist's birth and death dates in the search text, so as to eliminate references to other Karl Kaufmanns. Doing this pulls up some additional relevant links:

Doesn't look like there's a lot of information about him really.
I was thinking on taking to an appraiser but I don't think it would be all that useful since it's not a really "known" artist. I do know that the art work he has done that actually has his signature go for more than his "fake" name's he signed as. Anyway, thanks |

There are also a few places where many of his past auction prices can be checked out for free. These sites seem to have his death date as 1901, instead of 1905 which I found from another source.
