can anyone read this signature?
This signature is across a framed print of a Dutch village setting; I cannot make sense of it. I think the first name is "Horst" but hours searching give no results. The painting - print - has been in the family for at least 50 years (see attached); my father is from France if that is any help. Thank You!
UPDATE: Another art expert pointed to the fact that this is an aquatint, perhaps a German artist. I traced with a shaky hand the signature and then scanned it, attachment 3.
