Question I need help with two paintings?

I can find a picture of this Picasso on line but cannot seems to find it's title, any of its history or the medium used to create it. I know it must be common place but I am just searching for it wrong.

Back in 1990 there was a gallery on Madison Avenue and 75th street and they had several Original works by Luis Ricardo Falero. One was a larger painting that was called "The Dream" (I know this because I considered buying it and got quite a bit of information on the piece including a Polaroid that I have kept all these years). Subsequently the gallery closed about a year later and I never knew what happened to the painting. While I have been able to find pictures of the painting on line there is no information as to its whereabouts. If anyone might have some direction that would be super.

Thank you,

Tilly

The Falero painting is also known as A Fairy under Starry Skies.

It sold at Christie's in 2005 for $21,600. Quite a bargain. See this link for details.

It probably went to a private buyer, so you'd be lucky to find out where it is now.

Thank you! The price I was quoted was 18 so I can understand the value going up a little in a few years... I guess I will just have to see if it ever comes up again.

Now if anyone knows something about the picasso....
