Default Can you help me find this painting?

Hello,
I've lost a painting of my grandmother's that I would love to find again. It pictured a man playing violin being accompanied by a pianist. The violinist had on a long heavy coat. A few other people are depicted in this painting, specifically a man and a woman sitting on what appears to be a narrow bed on the left of the room intensely listening to the music. The scene seems rather dark with either a dirt floor or possibly an old wooden floor. It looks like it could be in the back room of a saloon. Quite an intense painting. If you can identify it I would love to be able to find a copy. The artist's name began with the letter "B" as I remember.
Thanks very much,

Default Violionist painting

I just picked up a print at an antique store in Stillwater MN. My daughter is a classical singer so she loves it. I would really like to know if you found out anything about the print. We see some type of signature on it but can not make it out.

Do you have photos of the print and the signature? That would help significantly. Click "Post reply" below left and use the paperclip icon to upload attachments. There is a size limit of about 500K on uploaded images.

For some reasons I did'nt pay regular attention to the threads of the beginning of 2011 and discover now the question of trumpetmood.
I guess his search is about :
Lionello Balestrieri's "Ludwig van Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonate".

Yes, this is the print that I just found at an antique mall in Stillwater MN.
Thanks so much for identifying the print.
Do you know if the artist did any other music themed prints and where I could find out the significance of the head in the middle of the picture?

The head is the death mask of Beethoven, probably not the original but one of the hundreds copies made at the time :
