This painting or drawing is done in either black and white or sepia tone. It looks like a drawing rather than painting, but has a lot of small detail. The young soldiers boots make me think it might be French. Thank you in advance for any help in identifying it.

Looks Pre-Raphaelite to me, which would make it English, but I haven't found its match online yet.

Thank you both of you for trying to find my drawing. The copy you found is the closest I've seen. The detail throughout the drawing is very different, but one is definitely a copy of the other.

As an Anglophile, I am quite happy that it is English. Thank you, John!

I think it is a print of G. F. Watt's painting of Sir Galahad http://www.hillhouse-antiques.co.uk/...559654F2422%7D

Thank you so much for finding the artist who drew my painting! The second one you posted is identical to mine. The first has many different details, as well as being in color. Could you tell me how you found these? I just love this painting so much and couldn't be happier to finally know something about it. Thank you!
