Can you identify artist/painting?
this is reproduction I saw in a shop window.
I was told that original is in the Louvre... and that Artist was Felix Ziem, but I don't think so. Very powerful feeling in it (cleaning before prayer) & I'm hoping to track it down for history & artist. Thanks  |

Looks like Jean-Leon Gerome, but a quick web search didn't turn up that particular painting.
