I teach art to teenagers aged 14-16 who sit for a GCSE exam at the end of their course. I would love to correspond with other teachers of Art and perhaps exchange ideas for work projects.
Summer holidays are just round the corner now but new ideas for next scholastic year would be most welcome! |

Greetings Marlene,
There are many great "tools" out there for communicating with art teachers. I highly recommend Getty TeacherArtExchange list: http://www.getty.edu/education/teacherartexchange/ You will have hundreds of art teachers "at your fingertips" Another excellent list is Art Education Yahoo Group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/art_education/ Art Education 2.0 is another network of professional art educators (primarily technology based). http://arted20.ning.com/ Be sure to join all three. There is also ArtsEducators on Yahoo, but it isn't as active now. Also check out Incredible Art Department web site. http://www.princetonol.com/groups/iad/ Hope this helps, Judy Decker |
