I have seen a few prints that have been signed by the artist. What determines the value of the print? I have seen an L.S Lowry print signed by the man sell for £400. Is it a good sign of a quality artist that the artist has had prints done and signed them?
I have seen an F. Neri print signed in pencil. Has anyone ever seen any prints/paintings by this artist? Thanks |

I have a watercolor signed by Artist F. Neri which I purchased over the weekend. Although when taking this apart to clean frame and glass the actual watercolor painting is glued (if you say) onto a mat board.
It has the signature on the bottom right of the watercolor and then it is signed in pencil on the lower bottom right as well and then to the left it is signed in pencil "Tomei deoi Moteri" if that is the correct spelling. I was wondering if this is a print, but it sure does not seem like it when the acutal watercolor painting has been attached to a mat board. Where in Albuquerque, NM would one take this to, to verify its authencity? |
