Help with Artist signature

This early 1900's watercolor, paper on cardboard is signed.
Appears possible:

Demore
Demone
Domehe
Demome
Demexe
Demoxe

I've got a few different ideas based on the scanned signature (begins with a "B"? ends "xie"?), but nothing resembling any name that seems likely.

Yes I thought of the "XIE" too.
First I thought maybe De Mex. (From Mexico) and then initals "IE"
Maybe:
Bemoxie
DeMoxie

Have you considered that it might be a different character set? It almost looks like Greek.
