Help Identifying Artist and Painting

Does anyone recognize the attached painting signed lower right "Weeks"? The painting is probably 60's to early 70's. James Weeks might match the time (SF in the 60's) but I have not found any similar work/signature in his work posted online.... Name: Weeks Painting.jpg

I agree, it doesn't really look like his usual works, and I wasn't able to find a signature at all - although I did see one painting that may have been signed with a "W".
