Hello, thanks for the information. Can I assume that this painting is a unique original ind originates from this artist?. I'm near the painting on a flea market, Holland limit purchased. It is painted in oil on canvas original. Unfortunately, I find no internet auction prices also. Is there something special?. Thank you

That's what saintmarc said. A preliminary work is less finished than the final copy. I assume it would be not larger, perhaps smaller.

To find out more about the original, you'd have to track down the record of the sale. Either by contacting the auction house (Venduehuis der Notarissen) or signing up for a short-term membership in Artprice and seeing what details they have in their database.
