Rembrandt's 400th Birthday

Tomorrow, Saturday July 15, is Rembrandt's 400th Birthday. There is a feature about him on NPR's website with Susan Stambach interviewing such luminaries as Simon Schamba (Rembrandt's Eyes), Chuck Close and Alex Katz.

I hear there is a new musicial which has opened in Amsterdam called (what else)
Rembrandt! Anybody out there seen it? I'd like to hear some of the songs?

I like what the city of Amsterdam has done, casting the figures of The Night Watch in bronze and placing them alongside Rembrandt's statue in the Rembrandtplein.
