Default Man with Flute ca. 1500

I have an oil painting (see attached) of a man holding a flute which seems to be Italian, around year 1500. Does anybody know the name of the artist and where the original is hung?

Did you check the Recorder Home Page? Believe it or not, there's an enormous site dedicated to images of the recorder in art history.

This work is an interpretation of "portrait of a flautist" by Sebastiano del Piombo
Museum of Bayonne (France)
