Default Robert Hughes's Advertisements for Himself

The great art critic (my publisher's favorite) Robert Hughes is on Charlie Rose tonight plugging his autobiography. Should be good for a few chuckles. If you miss it tonight, the Rose website will have a free downloadable version for the next few days. After that you will have to pay to watch Hughes.

Default question for you

Hi Joe,
I tried sending you a message through artconversation, but the email functionality has been disable.

As a new member of this site, I am contacting you hoping you can answer a question that I have as I can seem to contact the administrator (and you seem to know what you are doing). That said, I have just posted a thread in the question area of artconversation with images of the paintings I am trying to locate. For some reason (and I tried it twice), my thread/posting isn't showing up in the thread list, nor is it showing up in my profile as confirmation it was successful. Is there a lag or time delay before they are posted? Or are new members (just signed up today) not allowed to post?

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
Chantal

Chantal, posts and threads are now moderated (require approval from me).

When you post a thread, a message comes up explaining this, but unfortunately the page refreshes and takes you back to the forum page within a few seconds. I don't know how to change the refresh, so I have no choice but to leave it like this until the spamming stops. Which wil probably be forever.

Anyway, your thread is online and viewable now.
