Two Eyes Project - Che-Sang Nail!<Shall grow up in heart> ![]() Dunun _ Shall grow up in heart _ Bronze, Nails, _ actual size _ 2010 Nails being cut off periodically suddenly make me aware of the time that I have spent so far. A cut-off piece of nail is the marks of shame and pain in life. Suffering and patience from life becomes a flower in my heart to emit a hopeful fragrance of life. Episode taken to heart In December, 2009, I shook hands with a master of furniture at the Korean Masters' Exhibition. At the moment, I startled. I felt the master has hands with some defects. Since childhood, I've noticed my father's hand without a forefinger. And I had no regard for it, but my heart had a great regard for it. And I became to have unexpected pity for him . . . ![]() <Shall grow up in heart> at SoongRyeMoon Father's lost finger became a flower blooming in his heart. Dunun was encouraged by a word of Ms. Yoon, YoungSim who appreciated a photo of Mr. Na, MinKyu, which was taken in front of the reconstruction site of SoongRyeMoon to produce <Shall grow up in heart> as digital content. “Seems your father's forefinger comes into a flower at Dunun's fingertip.” Possibly, we may live on while forgetting what we have to consider more valuable as human beings in the tough world. I think we have to think over the truth that the eyes of heart tell us rather than clinging to what we simply see. When the eyes of heart open, we may smell the fragrance of life being emitted from the truth. This fragrance would lead us to a richer lifer. I wish that from this work, the people suffering with mental and physical pains while living in the present time have the positive force that a flower seed inside heart burst into bloom some time. If I would shake hands with the master with a finger lost, I feel I could smell fragrance from his life. I'd like to express my gratitude to the people who donated their marks of life to create <Shall grow up in heart>. . . . http://21cagg.org/gnuboard4/bbs/boar...glish&wr_id=10 Last edited by 21AGP : October 2nd, 2010 at 11:12 AM. |
