Not me. Sort of in the Dutch style, but I don't have any suggestions.

Default Meyerheim: On the Banks of the Scheldt

I too have fond memories of studying a print of this painting at my Grandmother's house. Hers was a large print which hung over the staircase. Recently I came across a small copy of it on the "freebee" table at a thrift store and happily took it to share with my sisters. To my dismay, neither of them remembers it, instead recalling a copy of "The Reapers" which also hung at Grandmother's. If you would like to have this miniature "On the Banks..." , I'd be happy to let you have it for shipping costs. I'll check often for a response... JLR

Default banks of the scheldt print

I'd love to have it if you're willing to part with it, very generous offer!

thanks again!

Did your family hold onto your grandmother's print?
I bet it's the same big print we had.

I, too recently found this print in my mother's basement. I am interested as to why she might have this print and it's history. She passed away in 2000, so I will ask some older siblings.

Wow, you captured the image near perfectly. I was excited to see that others have been searching for an id on this one. Any new developments on value?

I too have a copy of this print, same size and frame. I am 46 years old and have been looking at this painting since before I could speak. My print was given to me by my Mother. It was given to my parents by my father's parents. My Grandfather was German and I believe he brought this print with him when he came to the U.S. Thank you for your part in helping me learn the title of this painting. kimihuttar@yahoo.com

Default Flea Market Find

I bought a large lithograph of this painting at a flea market a few months ago.
It is faded from light exposure and bad matting, but I loved it and am having a new mat cut for it. Thank you for identifying it!
