Laying Bouquet of Roses

I have a canvas oil painting of bouquet of Roses signed M.E.W. 1905. can anyone help me to find out who the artist is.

Well the Getty ULAN database shows 3 people who match those initials and who were alive around that time.

Webb, Maurice Everett (British architect, 1880-1939)
Williams, Mildred Emerson (American painter, born 1892)
Wilson, Margaret Evangeline (British artist, born 1890)

The man listed was an architect, so it's not especially likely he could be the painter. The two women would have been a little young to be painting in 1905. Again, not especially likely.

Findartinfo.com also has a huge database of artists. They have some wildcard support, so perhaps there's a way to search by initials.
