JULLIART Nicolas Jacques.
Paintings often signed : Jq N. Julliar

Born Paris 1715, died Paris (Gobelins) April 19, 1790

Pupil of the Royal academy, then Pupil of François Boucher who interest him in landscape painting.1749- Italian tour. Some italian landscapes (Stockholm National Museum , 2 paintings : View of Frascati signed and dated 1750 and View of Tivoli signed and dated Roma 1751)
Back to France 1752, gives some tapestry sketches for the Beauvais manufactory.
1754 Accepted by the Academy on august 31
1755 Painter of the King for the royal academies of Felletin and Aubusson
