Default looking for a painting

This was a popular print in the 70's and 80's..young man on his knee, normal planetary reality behind him, he on the left, looking though the edge to another reality..an night of stars. Used to be used in conjunction with astrology. Any memory of this?

I think what you are referring to is a classic woodcut that was used on the cover of The Discoverers. I'll go dig up my copy and get the reference...

Hopefully this is it...

by Camille Flammarion, based on a 16th-century woodcut by an unknown artist.

Dear John..just checked Art Conversation..YES..that is the painting. Thank you so much. You say unknown artist, so who is Camille Flammarion? Sorry, for the delay. I am new and somehow thought I would get an e-mail. Many thanks. Lesanne
