Dear ArtConversation vistors,
I really liked this Best of Show Art site - IS Abstract http://www.isabstract.com/ Site for Los Angeles artist Isabelle Hope Grahm. Wonderful abstract pieces - lots of layering of colors (of course, some I like better than others). Art teachers, I can see lots of lesson ideas browsing her site.... Here is an award winning (W3 Gold Award for 2007) Photo site. Travels to the Edge with Art Wolfe http://www.microsoft.com/prophoto/ic...e/default.aspx Great photos here too - Icons of Imaging: http://www.microsoft.com/prophoto/icons/default.aspx I found this site - and Isabelle's site on W3 Awards site: http://www.w3award.com/webapp/winners National Museum of African Art was the Silver Award winner for art in 2007. http://africa.si.edu/index2.html I "discovered" this when I went to their site. This Silver winners are not linked on the W3 site. Enjoy, Judy Decker |
