Default Crespo Rivera

Hi everyone:

I suggest you the follow link:

http://www.cresporivera.com

in order to let everyone know more about Crespo Rivera's works. At present he is one of the most succesfull sculptors in Spain because he has returned to the artistic creation entirely, and he is preparing a retrospective exhibition of all his work. Many of his followers and fans were looking forward to see Tomas Crespo Rivera working again after his stage at Modelling and Design at the Art and Crafts School in his home town of Zamora. At that time he stablished a furnitures designer shop, one of the firsts in Castile (Spain), being its managing director and centering his effort on it, drawed him apart from active sculpture.

As an introduction I show you a critic which compares Crespo Rivera and Gerardo Rueda's works:
"what in Rueda is just linear constructivism, in Crespo Rivera is enriched by the circular structures that accompany the straight lines. What in Rueda is design attainable by a good experienced carpenter, in Crespo Rivera is labour that obligatorily requires the hand of its author. It is not my pretension to establish a comparison between both artists, but the appointment is inevitable and makes clearly evident the category of Crespo Rivera, who can bear being compared with such a famous master of modern art without loosing his neighborly and criteria".

Hope you enjoy it!

I´m a Spanish art critic who has found out Crespo Rivera´s work just a few months ago and I´ve been quite surprise about what I saw, as much as I started to research a little bit in order to extend my knowledge about this artist.
As result I´ve got a interesting abstract of his that might be interesting for you:
http://www.arteuniversal.com/directorio/artistas_C.html
Basically, this piece says that he is one of the most relevant artist into the movement of abstraction constructivist-spacelist in Spain.

but as far as I know there have been no-one who develop this style.
Can anyone give me any more information about this topic?
I´d be glad

The key point is the manager.
