Hmm, true. The free service provides you with a thumbnail only, whoop de do, and forces you to provide your email and "recommend" their site to at least one friend. I bailed without even getting the thumbnail, as I'm unwilling to risk getting even more spam.

is there a huge difference between that and some of the effects programs like PSP can do?

I do spend a few dollar to test our their non-free quality since I am looking for a special gift for my girl friend. Hey, it is a photo we take on bed, and we look really nice + sexy in the sketch. Guess what I get for a return that night

it's free
guys you dont have to put in the email and stuff. just click the convert button underneath it. it still works.

Wow this might not be the best sight but you do not need to enter your e- mail or a friends if you look carfully enough it says "* Not Required" before you enter your e-mail and this worked just fine for my needs i just alterd the photo size be for loading it to leave room for the signature and then took it off after

sketchmyphoto.com does actually provide free sketch.. but jut a smaller dimension of your sketch.. if you need a original size then they will charge you.. I have tried it.
I have tried others photo to sketch conversion service.. and the outcome is not as good as sketchmyphoto. please recommend me if you have a better 1. |

If you're referring to the service in the previous post, it's "free" but extremely crippled (small image sizes supported, logo embedded, most effects are unavailable without a paid subscription). Not worth my time to play with.
