drew my hand in my art class, and my art teacher spilled her coffee on it. There are now spots all over my piece of paper. I was wondering if I could somehow get rid of the coffee stains. Someone once told me a way to get rid of it, but I forgot how to. Any sugestion

Try searching under "paper conservation" and see what you can find. My first thought would be to use water to get the coffee stain out, then treat as per water (see this page regarding water stains). But this is just a guess, so do your own research first.

lemon water. But might be best to flatten the paper and hold it in place with masking tape to stop it warping when wet. I had my lecturer leave a full coffee ring on my final work. Lemon water worked a treat. |
