I recently purchased this painting because it was just black and white (watercolor I think) It almost looks like an ink too? (Sorry that I am not very informative especially on paintings!)
The signature looks like Bizi Raymond - ??? Here are the pictures of the print and the signature... Thanks http://www.flickr.com/photos/clovermarieg/6173806949/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/clovermarieg/6173824777/ Let me know what you think or if you know ANYTHING more - This was all I was told: "It came with items from the estate of Loraine Dury, who lived in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and died in 1979. A Wisconsin artist herself, she collected art, especially when she attended the Art Institute in Chicago, in summer art sessions she took." Thanks again everyone! Take Care... Clover |

Still no idea. The key may be whatever that dot signifies, if it's another letter (which seems unlikely given how careful the rest of the writing is), if it's a separator between two names or between the title and the artist's name, or if it's just a blob with no significance.
