Default Paris Place Du Tertre - Can't Identify Artist

Hello,

I am new to this site..can anyone help me identify this artist? I purchased this at an estate sale, and have attempted to find info on the internet..any help is appreciated.

Someone else posted the same print and asked the same question last year. Seeing a second signature might give you some clues.

"Duifay", actually. But it looks like they couldn't read it either and just put in their best guess, LOL.

Hmm, yeah, but the signature does look more like Duifal or Duifay. The print doesn't really look much like a Jean Dufy or Raoul Dufy.

In this sort of case I wonder if it wasn't deliberately signed to almost look like "Dufy" so that the prints can be sold as Dufys to not-so-sharp-eyed tourists.
