Default Help identify Mothers art work

My Mother has been wondering for years about a print she has that is signed by TC Chiu, and is of a beautiful young Oriental Woman with a Green Bird on her hand and a spotted Spaniel beside her. She would just like to know about the artist, and maybe when it was done. It was given as a gift back in the 1980's. She loves it, she just is not sure if she can find more.

There's a bit of a bio and 187 pages of T.C. Chui prints and posters here. http://www.prints.com/art.php/Art_Pr...rtist_id=14995

Looks like one of those Chinese art factories

How can one artist have 187 PAGES of works to sell? In at least a half-dozen totally distinct styles? And at least one of the works ("The Invitation", on the first page) is by another artist named Danny Hahlbohm. I thought prints dot com was messed up, but Allposters.com has the same mixed bag.

I'm beginning to think that this T.C. Chiu doesn't even exist. The bio seems rather odd and even the pic they have of this guy looks like a bad painting. A lot of this art looks familiar to me, the garden ones remind me of a screen saver I have called 'Garden Sanctuary' by Val Stokes. Taking other artists work and slightly changing it perhaps. Chinese Art Factory attaching a phoney name of a made up artist to make it look legit!!!
