You could try cropping the photos so that each image is all painting(not the whole painting obviously) and then do a Google reverse image on those photos. To do that go to Google, then images and then click on the camera icon in the search box.

No they did not mention any museum, that painting was located at a War camp in serbia ( Krajina ). It's showing an islamic flag of the ottoman empire and a Slavic, perhaps serbian war flag. |

Google has a "reverse lookup" image search feature where you upload an image and Google brings up images from its database that are as close as possible. Sometimes it works amazingly, sometimes it doesn't come up with anything very close. Just go to the Google Images page and click the little camera icon inside the search box.
But in order to use that search tool, you'd really need to use a photo editing program to crop and resize the different pieces of the tableau so that they fit together as one image. I'm not sure I'd go to that trouble myself, but it has a chance of working. |

I tried cropping a few of the pieces but no joy in either TinEye or Google. The reason I thought the Crusades is due to the flag beside the Ottoman flag.

From what little I know of Serbian history, they had a long history of battle against and occupation by the Turks. A look at Wikipedia suggests that this is most likely a representation of the Battle of Kosovo in 1389.
