Please help me identify this artist's signature!

I have researched for a very long time and I cannot find the artist's name to properly appraise its value. Please take a look if you are up to the challenge I would DEEPLY appreciate it! I was thinking "K. Culter"? But that doesnt exist and maybe even "K. Aulter" but I couldn't find that either... Please help me find this artist.

If you have two paintings by this artist, please post a closeup of the second signature.

Just my opinion, but I don`t think both paintings are by the same artist. The signed one has some really nice touches; the other one looks mass produced to me.
