![]() It is signed TERRY GOODKIND 12 78, Terry Goodkind is a New York Times best selling author and I have written to him and received a signed letter back accepting that it is in fact his own work. I am sorry for the poor photo quality, but could anyone hazard a guess as to what value I should assign this piece? It is 21 1/2 '' X 17 1/2 " by the frame dimensions. |

Not a bad work. Is it an original drawing or a print?
I am no appraiser or art dealer, but assuming it's original I don't see why it wouldn't be worth a few hundred bucks at least, and add in a few hundred bucks for the name. So my guess would be about $500, with considerable room for error. I did a quick search and came up empty, but maybe you can troll around and find one or two examples of what his works have sold for in the past. |

It is original, unfortunately there isn't any sales to complare with, as far as I know all of his work has stayed in the family, in fact, this painting I have was sold by his brother, which is also stated in the letter I obtained from Mr. Goodkind. He just had another book go Number 1 best seller of the New York Times the week of Sep. 4th.

So Mr. Goodkind and I settled on $600.00 for this Painting and a Signed copy of his newest book release.
