Help with painting signed: HUNTER

Hi! I'm curious about this painting, titled Paris Morning. The painting is signed, HUNTER, in all capital letters. I purchased the painting in northern California and have Google searched: artist + HUNTER California, etc. The name George Leslie Hunter has come up several times and the location plus subject matter, a Paris street scene seem to support that line of thought. I haven't had much luck finding examples of his earlier signature, nor have I had much luck finding another artist named HUNTER with this style.

I don't see anything at al similar painted by GLH. Also he died in 1931 and this painting looks more like something from the 1960s, give or take a decade.
