I have tried for ages to identify a painting which I saw a print of some years ago. it is in preraphaelite style and I have looked at holman hunt for example, but no joy. I don't know the title but it depicts a church with a service going on in the background which is lit up; and in the foreground a young widow (I think with a child) who is weeping and Christ is comforting her. I would really appreciate any help as I have spent ages googling various things trying to come up with it, and looking at lists of pre raph paintings-maybe it isn't pre raph but is certainly in that style. thanks to anyone who tries to help!
