Question Nude oil worthy of research

We have inherited a beautiful original oil painting.
We have owned it for 20 years and the person before said they had it for ages. Canvas appears old with some cracks in the varnish and discoloration on the inside of canvas.
She is so lovely. This artist really did a wonderful job.

The signiture says Steven Simms. And I can not find anything on him.
I tried to attach a picture. But I could not upload due to the size?

Anyone have instructions on what to do?
I would really like to show her off.
** She is in good taste.

There's a "Stephen Sims" who is a known painter of some talent. I do not have any record of Steven Simms.

As for the picture, any image editor and many image viewers such as IrfanView, can crop and resize a photograph down to a reasonable size. (Be sure not to save the resized file as a different name so that you don't lose the original.) I have rarely seen a need for images larger than about 800 x 600 pixels or so.
