Default Help identify artist early 1900 caricature

I am trying to identify the artist or information regarding a painting. The quote on the bottom, I believe comes from the 1911 book, CARICATURE THE WIT & HUMOR OF A NATION IN PICTURE, SONG & STORY
By Grant E. Hamilton 1911

The quote is-
Poet:" Here is a spring poem sir."
Editor; "I can see that - I can detect the microbes of malaria, rhuematismn, influenza and brainfad in every line."

Unfortunatly I am unable to attach the entire photo as it's too large for this site. I have attached the signature and subject. It is of a a blond hair long nose man in a red and white stripe jacket and white pants in a slightly leaning over position. The position is almost if one is playing a piano standing up. I will be glad to email it direct if you are so interested.

I hope someone can assist in the identification.
