Help with artist name
I have two very old paintings that I found in my mothers attic. She won't keep them in the house because she swears that they are haunted, so I brought them home with me. They both have similar scenes and are painted on canvas. They were originally in frames but I took them out. I have attached a photo of the full painting and the signature. Does anyone know anything about this painting?

Last night might be "Rieu". I think the word on the bottom is "Paris". Overall I don't think this was painted by anyone famous.
