Please help me identify this art. I purchased two pieces from a Habitat for Humanity resale shop. They were not displayed together but the nuances were so similar that I feel they have to be the same artist.

One is of a young girl reading a book and this piece displays an artist signature of ’Barbara ---- Johnson,’ I cannot quite make-out the middle name.

The second piece is of a young woman sitting in a chair and reading. This does not have a signature; thus, I cannot be sure the same artist did both pieces.
