I just purchased a print of the poppies that appears to be original, frame has "bought in 1944" written on the back. It is large, about 16x20. I have no idea what it is worth, but I only paid 4.99 for it at a thrift store. Can't wait to learn more info.

Here's a link to a bunch of past auction results for Anna Sophie Gasteiger. Looks like original oil paintings could be worth in the range of $1000 or even more.

i also have a painting series 314 no 1 i was given to me by my grandmother abd was purchased by her mother it has original frame and is very old vase of flowers almost looks like pink red poopys green yellow back ground looking for value

I have an signed original waterolour of Anna Gasteiger's, which I am willing to sell.

It is of a vase of irises, the size is 400mm. (16") wide x 500mm. (20") high.

It belonged to my mother, who told me that Anna stayed at her house in the 1930's and paid for her board and lodgings with this painting.

I am looking for £700 to £800 for the painting, if you are interested please

Since many years, we have 2 works of AG. I know that they are already in our family since many years.

I have either an original or an old print with the above title - probably around 60-70 years old could be older - not sure.

Picture is on paper and backed with card. It still has a sellers ticket on the back with the title handwritten - possibly a shop ticket.

It's a vase full of Gladiolis with a smaller, empty vase next to it on the left. There is a dish, with a lid, further away to the right of the main vase.

This has been stored for many years and I have never hung it. I think it originally came from my parents house but unsure.

Can anyone tell me anything about it please?
