I was in Bonn, Germany in 2005. As is required, I went to the museum mile and took in a few galleries and museums.
One of these was the Haus der Geschichte. There was an exhibition of war/post war art with a heavy emphasis on socialist art. one piece I saw struck me and I still to this day can't get the image out of my head. I have contacted the place direct, but had no response and everywhere I look seems to come up with no answers. I just want to be able to see this image again...and possibly buy it(if I did not dream it). If this description means anything to you, please help. If I get a result, I will be eternally grateful. Artist name, I know must be wrong as I cannot find it, was (something like) Hans tiche. The Basic format was 3 grey columns with speres on top and red squares at angles from them, as a simple representation of 3 men with red flags. It was that simple! I thank you in advance for any suggestions. Gavin |
